 Ten years have passed since the great ninja war and the death of the three original saanin; Jaraiya, Orochimaru & Tsunade. After killing his brother and gaining new unseen powers, Sasuke has returned to Konohagakure. A time of prosperity and hope fill the lands and friendship grows into relationships as the heroes of the hidden leaf village grow up. Naruto and Sakura are married, and the village celebrates along with them.
Three ninja are chosen to take the place of the previous saanin:
The sixth Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto.
The last of his clan, Uchiha Sasuke.
The medic prodigy, Haruno Sakura.
But the times of happiness are meant not to last.
Sasuke turns once again on his village and kills Sakura Haruno, his plan ever since returning to the leaf. Full of hate and an unquenchable lust for revenge, Naruto leaves his village and the position of Hokage to resurrect the Akatsuki; this time, a team built especially to hunt down & defeat Uchiha Sasuke. In fear of destruction the leaf village seeks to kill their ex-Hokage and end Sasuke's life. Villagers talk of a war that is coming, one that will never be forgotten.
As Naruto gets closer to finding Sasuke, he learns that his old village has declared him a S-rank missing ninja and in his quest for power realises that the only way he'll ever be able to defeat Sasuke is with the full power of Nine Tails.
The shinobi world makes up its terrible mind:
the only two remaining saanin must be killed.
