A young teenage boy after taking the boat from Sinnoh to this place. Walks along the beaten path in the direction of the Lab. He has a very dark scowl on his face as he walks, the kind that says if you mess with me I will fucking kill you. Well just about anyone would with how long he has been walking. As he walks along the path slowly getting closer to the lab, he is muttering to himself about something in a very low voice. "Dad is an ass. he actually thought I would stay at home and not become a trainer. What a hypocrite trying to keep me from being a trainer, when he is one himself. BASTARD! I'll show him what happens to those who cross me. Once I have a strong enough team of pokemon, I'll go home and kick his ass across our backyard. Then we will see who the better trainer is." He would have continued his silent rant. if not for the fact that he was suddenly overshadowed. This causes him to look up and notice he has reached the Lab already and the shade from the lab is covering him, time sure flies when your ranting to yourself. Stopping for a moment to calm himself down, he takes a few deep breaths before thinking to himself. Well, time to put my nice to everyone mask on. So I don't get shot down before I even begin. With that thought in mind he walks through the lab doors and up to the desk when he notices the secretary. "Uhh Excuse me, Can I get an appointment with the professor please?" After he finishes speaking he turns to look around the room. Basically trying to keep the person behind the desk from seeing him scowl at having to be nice to a total stranger. Once he finishes giving the room the once over he turns his attention back to the lady behind the desk with a really forced smile on his face. A smile, that if you knew him would cause you to fall over and laugh like crazy.

The secretary paused from what ever she seemed to be typing onto the computer to look up at the boy, using one finger from her right hand to push her glasses down slightly to look at him through the top. "Be lucky that there aren't any other appointments yet made today," she said to him before turning to a spot on her desk where a little speaker sat with a button next to it. She pressed the button and spoke into it, something about a boy being here to collect his starter Pokemon. Another voice - a feminine - gave the okay, and that she'd be right there. The secretary then turned to the boy with a brow raised. "She'll be right in," she spoke plainly before looking back to her computer and quickly began typing again. Within a few minutes, a purple haired women appeared wearing a white lab coat.
"Trainers these days," she seemed to mumble as she entered the room. She paused, realizing the boy standing there, and gave a tired smile. It looked like she had been up for a few days. "Well, I suppose you wish to just hurry up and get out of here, yes?" She smiled, though didn't leave the boy time to speak. "Well, come along then," she said, turning as she waved for the young man to follow. She turned quickly and briskly began to walk her way down the hall, really weather the boy was following or not.
Down the long stretch of hallway, a Linoone and Mew came bouncing along, playing happily with each other. When the normal type noticed the professor, it gave a call and rushed over, standing on it's hind legs as it waited to be petted. The women gave a it a kind hello and a pat on the head as she walked past. The Mew, however, happily went to the new trainer following behind, moving it's body and long tail around the boy's body before giving a call and suddenly teleporting. The Linoone, in turned, turned and ran off down the way it came. It took no longer than a few minutes to get to the main part of the lab. There were plenty of shelves lined with books, magazines, papers, and even Pokeballs. The same looked onward for the tables that sat around. A Pidgeotto sat on a small roost, sleeping soundly.
"What Pokemon did you say you wanted, young man?" the Professor seemingly asked as she walked over towards a large machine, part of it looking like a PC where you received Pokemon out of. The women had a lot load of Pokemon, some from breeders that had came to this region not too long ago to help supply young trainers with rare Pokemon such as starters or those you couldn't find in the wild.

The boy nods before following the women into the hallway. Which once in the hall they are greeted by two pokemon, A Linoone and a Mew of all things. The Linoone he watches silently at it walks over to the professor for attention. Not even sparing it a second glance, he turns his attention to the Mew. Which of whom seems more interested in him at the moment. He gives it a small smile for a moment, not even bothered with it being there. While any other trainer would probably fall all over him or herself to try and impress it. He doesn't even spare it a second glance, aside from giving the small smile from before. When it teleports behind him as he walks, he doesn't even turn his head to find out what the light from the teleportion was. The mew if it wants to impress him is going to have to do a lot better then that. It not long before they enter a room that looks to be the main lab of the place. He glances around noticing the bookshelves filled with all kinds of books, magazines, and pokeballs. As he is looking around he spots the bird pokemon in it's nest and makes a mental note to himself not to go near it. Especially if it has egg's there. When the professor speaks up to him he turns his attention to her. That was a very good question, what pokemon did he want? After thinking on it for a moment he remembers something his father mentioned at one time. Stating that if you ever started training pokemon to avoid anything to do with Eevee's as while they can evolve 7 or more ways. They are mostly weaklings even after evolving. His mind made up he decides not to take his fathers advice. In fact he is going to take it and stomp all over it, like the shit that it is. First things first though. Telling this women his name before she calls him a kid or something. "My name is Black just so you know. As for for my pokemon choice. Do you have any female Eevee's? In particular any odd colored ones that have been treated badly or ones who have been abused by someone? I want to give one a home and maybe show it that someone cares about it." Black waits for an answer while he thinks to himself, with a slight scowl on his face making plain that he is thinking about something rather bad. It sucks being neglected and abused by someone. I should know considering the neglect my father put me through after mom died.

Black? Well, that was an odd name for a boy his age, now wasn't it? But then again, Echevaria had heard names much more stranger than that before in her life time. Many would take her names for examples, really! The Pidgeotto stirred slightly in it's nest as the two conducted their speech over the Pokemon, and out of another far doorway, ad blue and pink Politoed managed to come hoping in, it's litter hair atop it's head bouncing slightly along with it. The Pokemon paused, realizing there were people in the room, and managed to go and hop under a table and try to "spy" on the people conversing; even though possibly it was already seen.
"Well, we'll have to see here, now won't we?" Echevaria managed a smile as she turned to the computer with a large key board sitting infront of it. "The police force in Yerita City just found a large group of stashed Pokemon that Team Rocket was trying to smuggle into their hideout somewhere around there. They let me have the ones that seemed best suited for trainers to start with, if they wanted a challanege or not. They all looked really poor and mishapen, from what Officer Jenny said when she first got them. They're all alright now, no worries. Or most are, to say the least. I think she said there was an Eevee in the bunch, too." She began typing in some numbers, and instantly, a Pokeball appeared where the large tube was, landing softly on the strange table below. "Here we go," she said, walking briskly over to it and picking the voal object up. Smiling, she turned towards the boy. "I think this may be what you're looking for," she said, and instantly released the Pokemon from it's enclouser.
"Eevee?" it asked wearily, looking around as it stood on all fours. It's fur was a slightly different hue than normal Eevees, which would make sense with Team Rocket, none the less. It seemed small and fragile. As it realized that people were watching it, the Pokemon instantly cowered down to it's stomach, shaking as it tried to hide it's face in it's front paws. Echevaria gave a small frown before stepping forward to hand the boy the Pokemon's Pokeball.
"The investigators said that the Pokemon was possbily used for experiments of some sort," the women said as she also stepped back to grab a large, yellow object hidden behind the counter. "Possbily to see if any other Eevee-lutions were able to be created or of the matter. Poor little darling." The women reached down to see if it would let her pet it, but the small normal type backed off instantly. Echevaria sighed and stood back up, this time holding out a trainer bag towards the boy. "It's a female, just to let you know," she said. "And inside that bag is your trainer starter kit, complete with everything you'll need as a trainer, Poke'dex included."

Black watches the little eevee when it's released. It's really small and looks to be awfully young. She also looks really underweight. When the professor hands him the starter pack he nods, but other then that he is totally focused on the small Eevee who looks too young to be on her own yet. He noticed the classic signs of abuse the second the professor released her. He walks over and gently kneels in front of the little fox/cat like pokemon. The second he does he begins to release a high calming feeling via his aura abilities. Knowing that words will not help here, As it never worked with him. He reaches out and gently with a lot of care on his part lifts and picks her up. He knows what she will probably do and he will endure it to bring her some comfort. Careful not to hurt her in any way he gently holds her to his chest, in the position mothers use to burp there babies. During this his body begins to give off a light blue glow to it, soon after the little Eevee begins to glow light blue as well. Black is using a aura ability he made himself called Aura Link, Which is basically him using his powers to connect himself with his pokemon. This gives him The ability to understand his pokemons speech. But in turn it gives the pokemon he connects to, the ability to speak human speech. It also gives him and his pokemon a telepathic link with each other. The professor is really lucky to see this as he rarely uses his powers over aura. Once his aura powers die down he gently rubs her back to try and be comforting. He then does something that he normal would loathe to do in front of another human, But desperate time call for desperate measures. He begins to softly hum a soft soothing melody. This is obviously not the first time he has dealt with an abused pokemon or a baby one. He has dealt with a lot of baby pokemon over the years. As his father would bring the eggs home and then take off again forcing him to raise them. In fact all of those baby pokemon eventually had grown up and are still roaming his families home in the Resort area. Most of the pokemon have taken up the role of town protectors. Keeping the likes of what remains of Team Galactic, and recently a few Team Rocket members. Out of the town and keeping them from ever coming back. Speaking of that, he uses his free hand to pull out his cell phone and dials up his home in Sinnoh. After a few rings someone picks up on the other end. If the Professor was watching this, she would be surprised to hear the cries of a happy luxray on the other end. "Hello to you too Volt, I'm just calling to tell you guys that I made over here safe and sound. That and I have a mission for the town protectors, The rockets that show up there from time to time, Kill'em." The luxray Volt on the other end sounds surprised when he replies and asks why. "Simple the starting pokemon I got here was, well I'll just say abused by them. The less rockets I have to kill over here the better. By hurting my new friend they have crossed Me and you guys too. I want them Dead no exceptions, I don't care if they beg for mercy. No one and I mean No one hurts one of my friends and lives to tell about it." The Luxray on the other ends gives an affirmative ray before the line goes silent. Black has just declared war on Team Rocket and all for one little abused eevee. He must really like her if he is willing to murder for her. If he is will to go that far with the team itself. You have to wonder what he is going to do to the ones who actually abused the Eevee in the lab.

Echevaria seemed amazed at the boy's aura skills, especially with a small Pokemon such as Eevee. The women had met a few other highly skilled trainers before with this ability, though were only able to use such on large Pokemon since they had more of a durability and could take more than the smaller ones could handle. With a smirk, Echevaria stayed quiet as the small Eevee seemed to know enjoy her new trainer's company now. What made the professor almost crack up was the way the boy talked about wanting to literally kill Team Rocket. Never in all of her years had she heard of a kid his age - how old was he again? - talk about wanting to kill someone just because of a small Pokemon. Well, then again, there were trainers as such who would try to do such things. But just chasing the bad guys off was all they could ever handle.
"Well," Echevaria said when the boy was finished talking with whom ever was on the other end of the phone, "I see you have everything you need. You have five Poke'balls and some potions and such in your bag for traveling, though anything else will have to be bought with your own money. The Eevee hasn't eaten in a few days, either, because of some eating disorder she's gained. Though, with you, I'm sure she'll be fine." The Professor chuckled slightly.
"Politoed!" Crash! A large sweat drop appeared on the Professor's face as her shiny Pokemon seemed to think that the table wasn't there at all, or merely an illusion, and tried to jump through it. "Poli!" the Pokemon said almost sadly as it managed it's way out of the table and hobbled over to the two, rubbing on it's head where it looked as if a bump was forming where it hit it's head. Politoed gave a weary smile towards the new trainer and it's leaving friend, giving a small croak in hello. Echevaria took a big breath in before looking back in the trainer.
"Well, I hope you've got all you need," she said with a slightly chuckle "Now if you don't mind -" she gave a slight sigh, "I need to go patch up my Pokemon. Have a nice day, and I do expect to see that Eevee again sometime soon, evolved or not." She bidded the trainer ado before turning with her hands behind her back and going to where another hallway led somewhere else. Politoed was quick to hop along in follow with one hand on it's head before hesitating and turning towards the trainer and Eevee.
"Politoed!" it said, giving a high bounce as it waved before turning and quickly taking off after it's trainer, trying to not hit it's head again.
