Five years had passed, and yet she could still feel his cold lifeless arms helplessly wrapped around her. Jason's final embrace, followed by eternal slumber. It got to her at times, and she felt an unnerving tingle flow up her spine. ~Why did he have to die?~ She thought, as she went into the music store. Music was her one true love, and the only way she could think of to escape the terrible memories she'd been having recently.
Vanessa browsed somewhat impatiently, getting annoyed that she couldn't find anything she liked. "I must say, I'm quite disappointed in the selection here." she said. Her voice was soft and gentle, with a slight bit of a strange, unknown accent. Possibly French? It was impossible to tell.
A little Flareon seemed to be scouting the area with it's eyes and ears. Pyro was Vanessa's traveling partner, but they were undercover so it was keeping quiet.
Ahead of them in line was an strange little man with spiked hair of a yummy pink color air, and little cat ears. At first glance, he looked like your average, every-day kitty-person...but...he bore the mark of the ancient ones... The mark of Raiza. It was the crescent moon spiral mark on his upper right bicep. Still, he had no clue of his historic lineage, and went about his day in his own modern teenage way. Edgardo normally sported a rather nice-looking suit and a team aqua bandana, but he was on vacation time, and didn't feel it necessary to let everyone know who he was... Today, he was wearing a black muscle shirt, which seemed to fit like a glove around him... His muscular shoulders, and abby chest were well-defined...and, his ripped arms were shown...as well as the mark of the ancient one... Seemingly a tattoo of the crescent moon, only it wasn't a tattoo. On his wrists, he wore black bands with little silver spikes...His black cargo pants were baggy, and had many dangling strands of fabric, and plenty of pockets... His choice of footwear today was a pair of black hiking boots.
"The lady behind me is right..." he said, paying no mind to her appearance yet...He had no idea who she was. "This music store has no good metal...What in the hell is this crap? Tupok?" he growled, as he set down the displayed disk. "I'll take this shirt..." he muttered, throwing a T-shirt of his favorite band Hell Blades.
In response to the joke, Vanessa chuckled quietly. She looked at him. It certainly was silly to see a Mew Morph dressed as though he was going to a rock concert. It was probably just the pink hair that threw it all off or something. Just made it look unusual, but not really ridiculously silly. Her eyes saw the strange mark on his arm. "Hey, what's that mark? Is it a tattoo or something?" she asked.
"I...I don't know what it is..." he said. "I've had it for as long as I can remember, stop asking me about it...I've gotta be going now..." he told her, grabbing his new shirt and making a hasty dart for the door.
~How strange...~ She thought to herself.
