The Best Of Freinds
Always They Can Last
For A Life Time.
"Absol!"
Yet another group of Starly and Pidgey went bursting up into the sky land, giving startled cries as the dark type burst through the tall grass, having a bit of fun as to scaring other Pokemon. At least it was getting exercise, as Lola thought to her self with a mild sigh. It was a nice day, preferabbly. Nice enough for taking one's time to get to the next town. It was almost noon, in fact; probably only a few minutes before hand. But hey, how would one know if they did not have a watch with them. Groan, and her father had always insisted that she get one for her self before she went along on her journey with Zeek. But no, she just had to ignore that lesson! Talk about learning your lesson a little too late in time, eh? Right, right, it was just fantasic!
For the Pokemon's luck, it was almost lunch time as well; Mankey and Zeek had big appitites, which was good considering the fact that Absol never ate much of his, and Center just played with hers. Yep, that's a Pokemon for ya. Her father was right; they usually do act like little children! Well, most of them, anyway. Houndoom seemed to be the only grown-up one she had ever met in her life. The rest were very playful and entergetic. Not like Houndoom wasn't; he was just more protective over all. One reason why Lola Marie wanted the canine on her team. Well, when she got a little bit better at handling Pokemon as large as the fire and dark type, at the very least. After all, could she even control a Pokemon like him at this state.
A white figure dashed out of the tall grass, a few more flying types startling them selves out of the brush and tall grass. Lola gave a giggle at the Pokemon that stood not twevle feet from where she now was walking on the path, her arms crossed as a small oddly colored Riolu dashed ahead of her to greet it's companion Pokemon. Small Pokemon were always the cutest above the rest, Lola had to admit. As the small creature went to meet it's larger companion, the Absol gave a sneer before turning and taking quickly down off the path ahead. The small Riolu slowed down to a stop where the Pokemon had been, a slightly upset expression on it's face. Lola gave a giggle as she caught up with the smaller Pokemon.
"Oh, it's okay, Zeek," the blonde said warmingly, patting the small Pokemon on the head as she passed by. "I'm sure Absol really didn't mean it. I bet you can still catch up to him!"
With the excited words ringing in his head now, Zeek the Riolu was once again happy, and quickly went into a run to catch back up with the Dark type, of whom was several paces - or yards, really - ahead of the trainer. Lola didn't mind; neither would go too far ahead, and Absol wasn't the one to bother other trainers or Pokemon. Well, hopfull he wasn't like that. Zeek just liked playing around with the other Pokemon if they were nice enough to do so with him.
