The Outside In.
Appearance: Kc is the one who tries to look normal. Though it doesn't always work out for him, coming from a middle-class family. His spikey, white hair stands out from everything else on him, really. And his light, green eyes as well, making it easy to see that he seems slighty oddly-colored. For the most part, anyway. He's only average height, about five feet six inches at the most. His clothes consist of a black head band with red markings, a black jacket with red markings, and black sweat pants. He usually wears running shoes as well, considering the fact that he's very active. He also wears a regular sized back pack, knowing he won't carry much in the first place anyway.
Though usually his Pokeballs are on his backpack strape, his also keeps them dangling on his belt, even the empty ones! Hey, you never know when your gonna run into a Pokemon, now do you? For the night time, he usually just wears long, baggy dark pants along with a light colored t-shirt. He used to do this at home, too, even in the winters. Then again, he usually always had a Ninetails in his bed to keep him warm. Ah well, at least he has his own Pokemon now, heh? He tends to wear gloves of the same color as his out fit, the giners cut out of them with bands on his writsts to keep them on just in case. His mother made him wear them just in case. Just in case for what, he couldn't really guess much as to what that was supposed to be about.
Personality: Kc is one of those people of whom you would call fairly nice and decent. He's usually one to start a conversation, though dosen't go too well with akward situations. He's more of an outdoorsy person, liking it better to go running out side than to stay in side on a nice day. He loves Pokemon, believe it or not. Pokemon Battling, he believes, it one of his speacilties. Though not the best at it at the moment considering his Pokemon, he still enjoys trying to catch Pokemon and the such. All in all, he enjoys Pokemon and is very friendly. Though he won't take rudeness and snobyness for much long than it needs to be. He's one of those kids who has a short anger span. He can get angered very easily, to say the least.
Kc is also very kind to others; though he came from an uptight family, he did not enherit those genes, but instead became the nicer side of it all. He's always friendly, to both human and Pokemon alike. He dosen't mind Pokemon battling at any time of the day, though, when he looses, he tries to play fair sportsmenship towards the other person instead of going off on them. He has a habit of that, he soon learned when once training with his father. On the up side, though, he usually tried to keep his cool amoung others around him, even though he has came from a rich family of the same sort of everything. The nicer kid of the bunch, to say the least of anything. Heck, and everyone seems to agree with this as well.
Kc would rather go out and make his own living rather than having someone else do it for him. Sure, Pokemon battling is fun and all, and it gets him a little money here and there, but all in all, he dosen't want to count on his Pokemon for everything and anything needed, such as some of his siblings do. He does little bits of work here on there while on his journey if he needs money, even though his parents would send him the money and supplies as needed. He hates being snobby and rich, if you did not know that already. So rather, he'll be of the lower class as he acts, as well as helps others if they are in dire need, even if he does not have enough money if someone needs it. Kind hearted, if you will.

History: Kc was born youngest of five children, being the second boy born into the family. So it was only natural when it came time to bring him home that he had people -and Pokemon - there waiting for him. His family was of the middle class, though closer to the higher class than lower. So it was only natrual when it came to a nice house, pedigreed Pokemon, and other such things needed for a family with money. Though Kc had the life, he knew it wasn't what he wanted.
Though his older siblings had big plans for their futures - his oldest sister going away to collage, the others becoming Co-Ordinators with pedigreed Pokemon, and his brother become a trainer with high-class Pokemon - he couldn't stand becoming snobs like they were. It annoyed him deeply. The Pokemon his parents owned were probably the only things that kepy him straight, and only two, in his mind, kept him straight in his mind. His father's Arcinine was always looking out for him, and his mother's Ninetails was like his protector when out playing in the near by woods while his parents were out. He never even needed a servant to watch out for him at all!
As he aged, he knew it would come time for him to choose some high-class Pokemon to start his adventure with. His friends and class mates usually shunned down on him because of his family and his practical diss to his expectaions. His parents wanted him destined for great things, though he only wanted to be normal like some of the other kids in Trainer School he knew. As if that would help at all. He wanted a normal Pokemon, too, like his father's Arcinine. So, he devised a plan.
He just had to think of one first.
On a bright, sunny day - when Kc was about nine - though cloud looking because of the large chance of there being storm, he begged and pleaded with his parents until they allowed him to go out side and take a walk, having to take Arcinine as a body gaurd along the trip. Be back by dinner, they told him several times as he got ready to leave. He only nodded in response and was quick to take off, leaving them in the dust. He managed to find his way out of the city life and out on the open trails of the forest, loving the outdoors as much as he did. Though several times he had to jump on Arcinine's back, he was suprisingly okay with walking everywhere. As the day grew longer, his mind grew heavier to the point of exhaustion. He couldn't think of a single thing to get his parents to change their mind.
Until he heard a faint cry.
Arcanine most undoubtly heard it as well, and then it came again, making Kc leap into action. He burst into a run, Arcanine close behind him. The clouds above were gathered into some large storm clouds, indacating it was going to rain soon. Kc knew he had hurry. As they got closer and closer to the noise, they soon found themselves literaly over a ledge at a waterfall. On one of the ledges, a small, injured pup lay weaked from what looked like exhaustion. And on top of that, it was a Growlithe!
Kc was quick to take action, turning and climbing down the ledge. Well, trying to, at least. It was still slick and crumbly, and Arcanine wasn't the best when it came to coaching, barking as he paced back and forth ontop of the ledge. A few sprinkles came down as Kc got closer to the Growlithe, making his heart pound faster than before. The poor Pokemon was shivering and shaking rapidly, a few bloodly scars here and there on it's small, fragile body. Kc knew it must've fallen from being chased by something bigger than it. Or just was running and not being carful at all when playing. Either way, as he reached it, the rain became heavyier and faster.
Kc was able reach the Pokemon almost safly, picking it up with one arm. The Growlithe seemed too weak to resist the human's touch, though seemed to dislike being held by one at that. Kc ignored that sense, and was quick to try and climb back un the ledge. Several times he in deed slipped, but managed to get to the top, Arcanine grabbing the back of his shirt to help pull him up. Kc quickly jumped onto the larger Pokemon's back, clutching the injured Fire-Type close. He knew his parents would be both angry and dis-pleased for bringing a wild - and probably unpedigreed - Pokemon into their house. But he didn't care. As long as the Pokemon was alright, right?
When he finally made it home, it was pouring rain. He, Arcinine, and the Growlithe were all soaking wet. It wasn't a good sight, considering his older sister was waiting outside the house for him. And she looked angry at that. Lucky for him, right? Inside, his mother was waiting with a worried and angered expression on her face, which alost made Kc's heart stop. What was even worse, when she saw the Pokemon in his arms, it looked as if she wer about to faint on sight of it. She didn't, luckily. His father got back not too much later on his giant Pidgeot, and the expression on his face told him he was in a heaping amount of trouble. He usually was, though, considering the fact that he'd gone out and done plenty of these things before. Minus the Pokemon, of course.
An hour later - and a handfull of arguments after - Kc sat in his room with the small Growlithe lying on his bed, passed out from who knows what. His parents gave him a long talk, saying that if he wanted a Pokemon, he'd get it with lines of which they knew where it came from. He kept disagreeing, saying he was only trying to help the small Pokemon. But of course, they didn't believe him. So he was sent to his room with the small Pokemon, Ninetails close behind. His sister Marcey - closest to him in age, older only by a year - came up not too longer, a Specail Aid Kit in hands. His heart almost sunk at the sight; the usual rules for the house-hold were erely simple - no going into other siblings rooms if they are being punished. Though, of course, this wasn't the first time his sister had broken the rules.
While they were bandaging the poor growlithe up - of whom was still passed out and making noises in it's sleep - Marcey began telling Kc what she heard. Frankly, after Kc was sent to his room, Arcanine refused to listen once to his father. It kept turning it's cheek to him, as she put it. Maybe it was disagreeing with how he had treated his son earlier, but heck, Marcey didn't know too well about how and why Pokemon did such things. Kc only laughed after hearing about this. Atleast the Pokemon was still on his side, right? The big lug usually was. Marcey began telling more, about how mother was now feeling a bit sad for sending him to his room. This wasn't uncommon; she somehow usually took his side in the end. But of course, his father thought it to be the nessasary thing. Again, not uncommon.
After a while, Marcey and Kc finally finished fixing up the injured Growlithe, of whom had finally woekn up at the end of it and was starting to roll over on his back to see what the conptaptions on his legs were. Kc cracked up laughing at the sight, thinking the small Pokemon was actualy kind of cute. It wasn't too long before Marcey came back one last time with a small bed, placing the Fire-Type gently on it, next to Kc's bed. When she left, Kc only passed out a few minutes later; one arm swung over the side of the bed, barely touching the Growlithe. Ninetails slept at the boy's feet, her tails waving slightly as they waited for day break. And all night, Kc's head was rolling through what his parents would say the next morning.
At the break of dawn, Kc woke up instantly to find Ninetails was no longer at his feet. And the Growlithe was no longer beside his bed, an small, empty dog bed lying where he was once. Kc was uquick to leap out of bed, still in the clothes from the day before. Like he would bother changing when the Pokemon he rescued the day before was missing. He literaly rushed downstairs, skipping just about every other step in order to get down the stairs quicker. As he landed on the base floor of the house - though they did have a basement - he was slightly greeted by an Arcinine call. He jumped at that startlment, though the scence played out was even more startling than the call.
His sisters - even his mom, for that matter - were all sitting on the ground, the Growlithe limping around them as if he was trying to play with them or something. All were laughing, Arcinine lying on the ground and occasianlly trying to get climbed upon by it's Pre-Evolved form. The Growlithe seemed more calm than terrified, probably because other Pokemon were there as well; including Arcinine, Ninetails, his brother's Charmelon, his eldest sister's Mareep, Marecy's Flaffy, and his other sister's, Jamie by the name, Vulpix. Kc blinked, almost confused. When his mother noticed him standing there, she couldn't help but laugh at him as well.
"Kc!" she laughed, putting her hand over her heart. "You should see this pup in action! He thinks he's the king of the world!"
Again his mother began laughing, his sisters barely paying any notice to him as they watched the pup try and pounce on Lilth - the Vulpix - for probably the nth time. Kc could only smirk as he steped up, watching the Growlithe play while standing behind his sister. What seemed like hours later - his siters told him the Growlither played non-stop for about three before he got up - it was noon, and the Growlithe passed back out on it's little bed in Kc's room. Being still grounded, Kc had to eat lunch in his room, sitting next to the slumbering Pokemon, of whom had a bowl of food and water at it's head. Ninetails ate along with them, having being the total care-giver and almost mother to the small pup.
Being almost an hour later after sitting in his room, Kc finally heard footsteps coming towards his room. He acted almost like a dog, and if had had ears, he would have perked them to listen better to what was coming towards him. But of course, he was and is not, so he only waited until the door opened to see whom it was. He had expected it to be Marcey, there to help him change the Growlithe's bandages. But to his slight suprise, it was only his parents. And his father, for the most part, had sort of a grim look on his face. Either that, or he was going to say something that he didn't want to. And frankly, the second part was right.
His dad seemed more than unready with what he was about to say, but, like Kc's father always had been, and probably always will be, he said what he was going to say anyway. "Son," his father said, trying to act stern with him. "We need to talk about this Pokemon your caring for." That made Kc turn and swing his legs over the bed, Ninetails' ears purking up as if she were going to listening. "Now son," Kc's father went on when he saw he was paying attention, "I know you've been having trouble with deciding about your Pokemon the way your siblings did, but -" Kc pracitcaly didn't want to hear this part. He already knew that his father would make him get rid of the Growlithe, or maybe even kill it because of how it was born. Or worse.
"- but your mother and I- I mean I think this will be a great experiance for you."
Kc literally gave the blankest look in history. Was his father actually saying this? Realizing this look, his father gave a slight smile and a nod of approval, saying all that he had just said was true. Kc again gave a blank look, but slowly, that looked turned into a big smile. He practicaly tackled his father in a hug, who gave a laughing chuckle in return. Kc was glad to keep the Pokemon; his parents were just excited to see him to his old self again. Within a few weeks, the young Growlithe was again back up on his feet and looking better than ever. Since no one knew where he was supposed to live, the little guy him self not knowing where his mother and father might have been, he agreed with them to stay and go on a journey with Kc. He might of thought to find his parents again, too.
Within the months leading up to his tenth birthday, Kc learned as much as he could about the Pokemon world, reading books and even training with his siblings. It was quite a time, as he was able to put it. Growlithe - newly named Fang due to his "disorder" of wanting to chomp on anything that moved - seemed to blend in pretty well witht the other Pokemon, especisally it's larger counterpart, Arcinine. At the day of his tenth birthday, Kc set out - along with Fang - on his adventure, his parents maybe over stuffing him a little too bit with the nessesities of being a good trainer. Of course, he didn 't mind. As along as he had the small Growlitheat his side, and a backpack on his back, he was just fine with that.
Pokemon Team.
[/blockquote]
Nickname: Fang.
Gender: Male.
Level: Eight.
Item Being Held: Charcoal.
Moves:
- Tackle.
- Bite.
- Growl.
Info/Personality: Fang was/is the first Pokemon Kc really ever had/has -read history for more detail - and Kc's trusting sidekick. Fang has a firey disposition, though very small in size to regular Growlithes. Fang is very brave, and will swoop into battle when needed for his trainer. Usually, because Fang is so obident and always follows his trainer around, Kc doesn't have a Pokeball to keep him in. So Fang is usually seen following Kc around any and everywhere. Fang is usually the nicer type to other Pokemon, and enjoys having a battle or two as well. Though, due to loosing his parents - from what Kc guessed, at least - he has the habit of running up to any older, more evolved Fire-Types, thinking that they are one of his parents, more specially an Arcinine.***
Name: Kakuna.
Gender: Male.
Level: Eight.
Item Being Held: Insect Plate.
Moves:
- Poisin Sting.
- String Shot.
- Harden.
Info/Personality: Kc recived the Pokemon as a small Weedle from his older brother, Nate saying that it was too puny of too much of a runt to be on his team. Kc didn't know why he didn't just let the Pokemon go where he found it, but Kc was glad to have him either way. Due to his small state as a Weedle, he was afraid of everything, and never liked to go into battle alone. He was always shaky and the such, and Kc could never hold him tight enough when talking to another trainer. As a Kakuna, he was still the same, though quieter and tends to moe less often than he used to as a Weedle. Though he does seem to use Harden more than he should. Kc sometimes wonders that when he evolves into a Beedrill - that is, if he ever evolves into one - that he'll get over his fear of others.***
Name: Marsh.
Gender: Female.
Level: Nine.
Item Held: Mystic Water.
Moves:
- Tackle.
- Growl.
- Mudslap.
Info/Personality: Marsh was found near the Alcada Marsh as a Mudkip during a little trip there when Kc's older brother - Samuel - decided to show him around before he actualy became a trainer. Samuel was suprised when his younger brother caught his first Pokemon all by him self. And with a bad matchup at that! Marsh is usually the go-getter, willing to fight any battle for it's trainer. Kc believes that it's just the love of the sport, but there could be an even more reasonable explanation for it. Marsh is a very trusting Pokemon, and loves to be around humans and other Pokemon. This water-type seems to be the very most opposite of Weedle, which is pretty ironic in the first place, being that Mudkip and Kakuna are very close friends.
