"Mightyena, your hopless."
Max dubbed that to the dog Pokemon as they walked, either Pokemon on either side, Might's nose still to the ground as they walked. Max had placed his right arms up on Flame's back as some sort of arm rest, while Flame - though still annoyed that his trainer was using him as an arm reast - took it. Why exactly the Pokemon was taking, Max didn't even want to question.
Really, the boy didn't know how long ago he had lost sight of the other trainer, though he could bet that they were close enough to the lab right about now. Though, then again, Might could have just been leading them around in circles. Like when they were trying to find Birch during his little escape from the lab. So yeah, Might didn't seem too trustable at the moment.
"Ty! Typhloshun!" Flame suddenly called, pausign breifly. Max blinked, his arm litteraly sliding off as he kept walking, giving a confused look at his partner Pokemon.
"What is it?" Max asked, pausing as well. In front, Might gave a happyish bark, making Max look forward again. And then he smiled.
"Hey look! The lab!" he cheered slightly, practicaly dasing into a run towards it. "Betcha we're here first, too! C'mon!" He gave no time for his other two Pokemon to catch up as he jogged forward. Maybe he beat Alex this time, too!
Hopfully.

Buildings scathed just above the white clouds of the day, small and fluffy as they were, almost like the wings of an Altaria. The buildings seemed much more beautiful from this rang, though the people looked more like ants than anything. Alex gave a chuckle as he looked over the side of his flying-type Pokemon, of whom was focused on the course ahead. How long ago had he lost Max's sliouthe? They seemed to have been mixed up in the crowds below, though he couldn't tell. Had Max beaten him to the lab already? Man, he couldn't tell any more! He needed a map for this.......
"Swellow!" the Bird Pokemon called, taking it's trainer out of his thoughts and made him look forward.
"Huh?" Alex questioned, blinking. And then he realized: there was the lab! "Hey!" he cheered happily, leaning forward slightly.
"Swell! Swellow!" his Pokemon said again, nodding to the ground with it's head slightly. Alex blinked again, and now got a closer look at what his Pokemon was trying to tell him. He saw a sillouthe of a trainer running towards the lab with two familiar Pokemon...
It was Max!
"Oh, no! He's gonna beat us Pretty Bird!" he said, giving a shout. He ordered Swellow to dive as fast as it could. He didn't think about crashing, just about beating Max. At about the mid point of the dive, Alex had realized his mistake. Alex didn't think about how hard he was going to hit the earth's crust, nor about harming Max but before he could give a change of command, he and Max had colided. "Oof!" Alex breathed as he rolled onto the hard ground, Swellow sliding close behind. Alex blinked slightly before realizing what had happend, and scrambled to his feet to help the other trainer. "Max! Oh, I'm really sorry. are you OK?" he asked, holding his hand out for Max to grab. He had felt so ashamed. Not only did he almost kill his new friend, but put Pretty Bird right smack-dab in the middle of it.

"What the -? Oof!"
Max fell to the ground with a loud thud!, a largish-bodied creature ramming up against him. He felt all the air retract from his lungs, and made a slight gasp for air. Flame practicaly came rushing up, snarling slighly at the other trainer and Pokemon. Might only began sniffing his trainer frantically.
"Well that was unexpected," Max grunted, clutching Alex's offered hand and stood up with the help. Slowly, he began to rub the back of his head, feeling a slight pain. "Well, I think I have everything on me," Max went on, examining his front half.
He seemed to have nothing more than a few grass and dirt stains for the most part, though his head was throbbing slightly. Flame gave a slight scoff, though regared what he wanted to do to the other trainer for almost killing his. Max then gave a slight chuckle, dropping his arm as he looked towards the other trainer. If you didn't know in the first place, Max rubs things off easily and can sometimes forget things in a matter of seconds if they didn't mean anything to him. This incedent was similiar to one of those things. Think you can guess?
"So I take it that we had a draw then, right?" Max almost joked, laughing slightly. Max gave a slight sigh before taking a Pokeball from his belt and holding it up in Might's direction. "I take it we should go inside then, right?" he questioned, pressing the circle in the middle of the ball. A red light shone, and took Mightyena with it inside of the sphere.

He was surprised at how easily Max had forgiven him. not to mention how he changed the subject so fast. Maybe he had de ja vu..... " Uhh, sure,"Alex answered rubbing the dirt off his knees. Swellow began to prick the dirt off of her feathers, and began to settle, while the Typhlosion was still snarling and nipping at her from a distance.
"Swellow?" she called to Alex, making sure her trainer wasn't harmed from the harsh crash. Pretty Bird was always like that. anytime Alex had been hurt, or scared, she was always by his side. What? I bet some of your Pokemon do stuff like that. Don't they?
As Alex called his Pokemon back to its Poke'Ball, the duo began to walk inside anxiously awaiting their first Pokemon. But once they walked in, Alex didn't see any Poke'Balls. Not like before in Hoenn. When he was in the Hoenn Region, there were tons and tons of Poke'Balls and Pokemon. He didn't get it. "Hey, Max," he began slowly, "Where are all the Poke'Balls?"

Well the waiting room seemed decent enough to Max him self, though Flame's nose kept twitching from the new smell of it. And he also guessed Alex was right: Where were all the Pokeballs? Usually, they were there right when you walked in. Aw man, and he wanted a new starter Pokemon too! Kind of weird, when you didn't see the Pokemon anywhere, right?
"I dunno," Max mumbled, taking another step in and looking around. His gaze slowly veiwed around until they landed on the secretary, who was sitting at her desk. Maybe she would know! "Um, excuse me," Max said somewhat kindly and almost innocently. "Would you happen to know where the Professor is? M-my name's Max, and Professor Elm sort of sent me here in the first place to come talk to her. You know where she is?"

The secertary tooka peak through the top of her glasses, and eye brow raised. There was a moment before turning to the device that was used to communicate through. A speaker to the lab no doubt. The secratary pressed the button and informed the Professor about two "new" trainers showing up, one being sent by Elm. Echevaria okaied it, and said that she'd be there in a few sort minutes. No doubt she was not lying, and within a few short literal minutes, she appeared in the waiting room with her hands behind her back. She gavea sigh, mumbling to her self about being in the middle of something, but it being fine, before looking over the two trainers for a moment.
Well, I take it you are here to get your first Pokemon?" she questioned to the two, but by then was already answering her question. "Well, of course you are, right? I mean, why else would you be here? Well, there are multiple reasons, of course....." She gave a slight chuckle before going on. "Well, no time to waste, of course," she said with the wave of your hand. "I assure you that you might have busy lives. I know I do." That last part was added with a mumble as she turned down the hallway she came from, pausing a moment for the two to follow.

Max probably gave one of the most blankest and confused looks in a life time as the women spoke quickly, as if she wanted to get things done in a hurry. On top of all, the Professor was actually a woman, too! Not like he wasn't surprised by that before. After all, all of the other Professors were men; he had met them while on his journey either over here - Birch and Rowan, of course - while probably any other - Oak, of course than none other - through Elm, either because they were visiting his lab because of one reason or another while Max him self was paying Elm a visit, because he was delivering something to sed Professor, or just because he needed his Poke'Dex upgraded. In this case, that would be the third one.
Max could only give a blank look as the Professor walked off without letting the two kids say a word, though Max awkwardly shrugged it off before walking along behind her, Max giving a "Let's just play along" smile and expression as he looked back to Alex, gesturing for him to come along. Flame instantly walked along side his trainer, staying to his left as some usual procedure to do. Of course, the Pokemon was always by his side during his travels, as was Ninetails. A usual thing to protect his trainer, as Max and a few others could only help but guess that to be truer than anything. But of course, that was just a guess. Chatter would be nessasary is Max wanted to ask his Pokemon anything about them selves.
But then again, Flame probably wouldn't tell.
The lab room was similarly large as compared to all of the other labs Max had seen owned by the Pokemon professor, as compared to the other labs he had seen on his journies, with the same looks as well. Well, except for the fact that there were no shelves upon shelves of Pokeballs sitting around, filling up the place as there should have been. But then again, there was a large computer at the front of the room, with a spot where a tube came out, just like a PC at the Pokemon Center where people could send you Pokemon or you could send it to them. So maybe that's where the Pokemon were stored! In her computer! Well that made a bit of sense. Somewhat. Then again, Max couldn't make much sense of anything these days.
"I was sent by Elm, by the way, to upgrade my Poke'Dex, too," Max could only murmur to the Prof, looking around wearily while Flame sniffed a stack of papers on a near by desk.

Alex blinked as he looked around wearily; this lab seemed nothing like Birch's back in Hoenn! Well, there were less Poke'balls around, to say the least. And this professor seemed easier to find than Birch was, the man always going out into the wild to research Pokemon when he could just study them by catching them. That would be the smarter idea, personally, though it was his own dession to do what he enjoyed best, wasn't it? The feminine professor seemed more organized, and more into working at her lab than the one in Hoenn. It was comical, actually, as to how much each Professor was different from each region. Well, from what he heard, at least.
Alex couldn't help but blink at Max's comment, before adding to for him self, "I was hoping to get a starter Pokemon to possibly start my journey over. Well, if you don't mind, at least." Alex gave a small smile as he looked around the almost empty room, scratching the back of his head wearily. Starting out with a new Pokemon sounded fun, really. Just like a new adventure, right?

"Yes, so I heard," the women said busily to the boy with the Typhloshin, quickly walking over to a near desk and taking papers off of it. From underneath, a Linoone appeared, blinking tiredly at the Proffesor. The women gave a quick hello to her Pokemon before walking over to another desk, setting half the stack of papers onto it. A shiny Politoad bounced over, giving a quick greeting to it's owner before bouncing happily over to the two trainers to say a little hello. The blue colored Pokemon gave a bounce as it noticed the Typhloshin, pratcially going up to the other Pokemon's face as it croaked loudly. The Linoone came out of hiding finally, wobbling as she tried to walk up to the two trainers standing in the room to say hello.
"Of course!" Echevaria replied to Alex's response, setting the last pieces of paper on a not already empty desk before turning to the two boy's. "We actually received the first three today; seems you boys will actually get to be the first ones to see them, as they are just recently discovered." Echevaria walked quickly over to the large machine near the front of her room, to where the mechanical object was able to spit out the Poke'Balls. She punched in a numbers, and within seconds, three Poke'Balls appeared. With a smile, the women turned, holding all three, one in one hand with two in the other. "Well, here they are!" she said, throwing the red and white spherical objects up into the air.
Each Pokemon were of different types, and looked strangely different in each way. One was a small, fox-like creature, orange of different colors all over with a yellow tail. It stood on it's hind legs with it's two front one's drooping down. On the top of it's head, a flame was burning brightly. A fire type, no doubt. The next was a little sheep-looking Pokemon, standing on all fours with green colors alike on it's body, both light and dark. It had fluffy hair with a large leaf on either side of it's head as ears. It had two green balls hanging from it's neck, and two horns as well. The last was a bear-like creature, looking sad and afraid. It's main color was a light blue, with dark blue blotches simutaniously around it's body. While the last Pokemon was a grass type, this one was a water type.
