There are two way in which you can encounter a battle with a pokemon.
Sometimes, there will be a thread already started that someone can post in. The pokemon will be stated in the title, so if you want that pokemon, then post in that particular thread. Whenever the battle is over and the pokemon is either fainted or captured, the thread shall be locked and moved away.
The other way in which you may encounter a pokemon is by starting your own thread and posting a message similar to this one.
"I would like to encounter a wild pokemon in this area. The average level of my pokemon is 17."
A moderator shall engage in battle as a randomly selected pokemon.
